I know people love Bioware and Dragon Age, but for fans of the Neverwinter series, it’s a shame to see them have to dumb the games down so much.

DA’s first few games were clearly running on a barely upgraded Aurora engine, and while the writing was still good (when it wasn’t trying to prove how “adult” it is for cool kids)…it just never made you feel like you were in control of the story the way Baldur’s Gate or Neverwinter Nights did.
