About Linkara

Atop the Fourth Wall is a show about bad comic books. Linkara finds the surreal and the stupid and breaks them down page by page. You'll know why they're idiotic and how they can be improved.

  1. Time to find out if this ANoES mini-series was worth it, and what the hell is going on at your new location.

I also love the Evanescence song “Wake Me Up.” It was also featured in the 2003 Daredevil movie.

5:21- Holy crap. We had Super-Freddy in A Nightmare on Elm Street 5, and now we have Bat-Freddy in this review. …Suddenly, I have an image of “Bat-Freddy v Super-Freddy: Dawn of Nightmares.”

I fully agree that none of these characters are like Nancy from the 1st and 3rd movies. Heather Langenkamp did an awesome job as that character. She was also great at playing herself in New Nightmare.

Thanks for letting us do The Time Warp again after so freakin’ long.

14:40- Make Springwood Great Again. =D

The comic’s subtitle “Paranoid” makes about as much sense as the subtitle “Book of Shadows” in Blair Witch 2. While this mini-series sucks dream balls, I’ll give it this: It doesn’t have any gay overtones like the 2nd movie. Right, Cinema Snob?

The Halloween special is gonna be a review on a Star Trek comic with ghosts, isn’t it?

  2. Question, can Freddy use his powers only in Springwood? If yes then why people still live there?

  3. NELLA! YAY! 😀

  4. The artwork is rather overly detailed. Although, I wish I had that kind of patience sometimes. Suppose that’s why I draw storyboards as opposed to comic books.

  5. For what it’s worth, there are actually “hand shotguns”; Basically a shotgun with almost no barrel.

  6. You cannot kill what is already dead, Linkara.

  7. I agree with you, Linkara. What a crappy ending.

  8. Ghosts, to me, are basically the limbo spirits who posses some or enough energy to have some force of movement or who are sustained in a specific location they cannot escape from. I’m spiritual in some ways, but from I’ve learned and seen, ghosts are the left over energy life force of humans.

  9. It’s weird how the Nostalgia Critic is reviewing “Freddy Vs. Jason” next week. Lots of Freddy stuff lately! I think I’ve been keeping up with the story well. I mean, the “Atop The Fourth Wall” story. A Star Trek monster? I like how you question how ghosts exist.

  10. Yay Nella! Been so long!

  11. So…

Is he gonna call Ghostbusters or something ?
