About AskLovecraft

In which celebrated and dead author HP Lovecraft offers his advice on such diverse topics as love, finance, cooking, and personal hygiene.

  1. You should makes these longer. Maybe take fifteen or twenty minutes. Anyway, I love this.

    • He answers quite a few of these a week. To lengthen the show would just mean he would have to either stretch the answers long, or do more questions per video. The former has the potential to make the process tedious, and the latter can be accomplished just as easily by producing more videos.

Not that he hasn’t done longer segments; there have been a couple of musical segments, as well as lengthy sessions from conventions.

But if your point is basically that you need a larger dose of Lovecraft, well, I don’t know if I can disagree with that.

      • Thanks for wanting more! TGP hit the nail on the head. To keep the show going at the rate I prefer (Mon-Wed-Fri) sort of like a webcomic, I need to limit myself to how many questions I answer. The years have also taught me that just rambling incoherently over one question is less entertaining than a few beats, a punchline, and the occasional PH stinger. If you want more Lovecraft, petition your local cons to fly me out so I can do a live-show in your town!
