AT4W: Marville #1

Ted Turner, AOL, and a kid who thinks time travel gives him superpowers. I only wish this was a joke, because then something actually FUNNY would happen in this comic.

About Linkara

Atop the Fourth Wall is a show about bad comic books. Linkara finds the surreal and the stupid and breaks them down page by page. You'll know why they're idiotic and how they can be improved.

  1. Out of all the mini-series Linkara has reviewed, this is by far the most insulting of them all. It insults our intelligence, it insults our sences, and in insults the entire comic book community.

3:25- Seriously, Bill. How the hell did you decide to go from parody comic to your stupid theories of God and the Universe? Did you really think comic readers are interested in that crap?

I started watching Smallville after Superman Returns was released, and thanks to ABC Family for showing the reruns of the previous seasons, I quickly became a fan of it. It’s a shame that the title of this thing is a big fat lie.

7:04- I love this clip of The Joker. It helps me remember that there are funnier people out there other than Seth MacFarlane and internet personalities like The Irate Gamer.

It wasn’t until this show when I’ve learned that Marvel was going into bankruptcy. It’s a good thing they recovered, and made the powerhouce of awesome that is the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

9:17- That’s a stupid reason to rename Earth, and that’s an ever STUPIDER name to call Earth.

10:36- That’s the modern parody films (like “Epic Movie” and “Meet the Spartans”) in a nutshell.

I can believe in a time machine built in a DeLorean, but not a time machine made out of PlayStation and Atari parts.

18:42- Out so-called “hero” has the same IQ as Kim Kardashian.

22:04- What the hell kind of economy does the world this comics takes place in have?
27:51- Keep this up, and you’ll start the recesion faster than it already did.

Bill Jemas should have been told that this comic would never be given a positive responce. Would save them a lot of time, money, and paper.
