Civil War has many problems. But because it’s Disney, they get a free pass while Batman V Superman became the punchline. At least that was far more ambitious than a Marvel film that refuses to do anything different.

Yes, because there has never been a Disney movie with bad reviews and/or audience reaction *eye roll*

I think you and I have very different definitions of the word “ambitious.” Because the only ambition I saw in BvS was “We desperately want to be able to suckle from the superhero movie money-teat” which doesn’t really count

I think if Batman v Superman wouldn’t have set the bar so low with more or less the same idea, Civil War wouldn’t be considered a good movie…I really didn’t like it (of course the rumble at the airport was great)

I love Zootopia so goddessdamned much. I demand that everybody everywhere see it; it is too good to pass up.

Also, glad to see Kubo brought up. Never skip a Laika film, anyone; you will regret it.

Don’t worry about being a little late to the list game Matthew, the video was enjoyable either way. Looking forward to re-watching all of the individual reviews and this one down the line as well.

Great list. Many I’ve seen and not seen. Loved Arrival, Zootopia, The Nice Guys, and some others in that list.
