Blood and Chocolate – Lost in Adaptation

The Dom takes a look to see if the teen angst in the book matches the twenty-something angst in the film.

  1. Is this the true story of Willy Wonka?

  2. I was eating peppermint bark while watching this video. I don’t even have time to read books anymore though going into this new year. I’m not sure how much I can offer to any book-based discussion anymore. I’ve never even heard of this book or movie.

  3. Most female writers and other artistic creators are stupid, uncreative, poor excuse for cinematic art or literature creators and are a danger to themselves and others around them, both male and female except for your J.K. Rowling.

  4. Women authors are sexist and/or misogynistic under the guise of being “Feminists” to themselves a lot more than Men authors who actually most of the time empower women in every conceivable way, again except for Harry Potter’s J.K. Rowling (even though she also has a lot of sinful flaws in her writing as you reviewed those book to film comparison in the past), is the only good female writer from your England Dom. Maybe women who have distinct German roots are terrible, sucky writers and filmmakers, I mean think about it, Fraulein Katja Von “Von” Garnier like she’s a German Grafin or Countess with a French surname, and how about Klause, Meyer, even Funke, most of the time German-named women suck at this or so I believe. You know what great literary, artistic, musical, and cinematic creation is still mostly a Man’s thing, it’s kinda sad but true, I’m not being so sexist, I’m just telling the truth of human history. There are precious few good women creators on planet Earth and it’s quite disappointing when they do them wrong or mediocre in any media.
