Brandon Tenold: Wicked City Live Action

Review of the Hong Kong produced live-action remake of “Wicked City” (1993). The anime version may have been weird, but did it have pinball sex? WELL DID IT?!

Pinball machine Rule 34. It had to exist somewhere…

If she cums, does he get an extra ball?

Oh yeah, and I remember a pinball machine from the late 70s/early 80s called Xenon, which, well, you’ll have to look it up online to see why the pinball scene reminded me of that little gem.

And I figured there was going to be a Bad Santa reference.

I’ve owned the VHS of this for years and watched it numerous times and still couldn’t tell you what’s happening half the time. I’m a huge fan of the anime version, but yeah… not quite Tsui Hark’s brightest moment. Sadly, not his dimmest either.
“Crouching Tiger, Hidden Star Wars” = funniest bit this episode. Nice.

He’s got quite some balls to do a pinball machine.

Were you screwin the pinball machine in the title card cause it kinda feels like you were? I’ll probably just watch the anime version instead. But when the fourth time the man saved his partner was there a cheesy action line there cause you didn’t put it there? Anyways gamera thon here I come!!!
