Bright – Midnight Screenings

Brad and Brian review the Netflix big budget action/fantasy, Bright.

About thecinemasnob

Brad Jones portrays The Cinema Snob, a pretentious film snob who is stuck with reviewing Z-Grade exploitation flicks of the past. I'm a big guy. For you.

  1. Bright was a good movie. Not great but it has legs for a squeal.

  2. Here’s my thought:

It was good shut-off-your-brain fun. It’s a cop movie set in a Shadowrun style world. The racial commentary was heavy-handed at times (which is odd, given everybody’s hatred of fairies). I probably wouldn’t watch it again, but I most certainly didn’t hate it.

I’d probably give it a 3.5 or 4 stars out of 5. Slightly above average on the enjoyment factor.
