couple of other notes: The ending montage was not completely decided on when the studio pushed for a synergistic poster ending. Lauren Faust worked on the film and her drawings of Sawyer as various pop stars are well worth checking out.

  2. This is quite a nice movie the jokes are really good
Its a bit of a cliche but its a good one

  3. Fun fact! This is the last movie Gene Kelly ever worked on before he died. He helped with the choreography!

That was pretty great, you should do mini-reviews like this more often, at least every other week or month or so. Because believe it or not, a lot of us would actually like to see you discuss some stuff because of it leaving an impact, not necessarily for being bad. It just feels nice to have our own childhood being acknowledged sometimes.

  5. A mini-review? I can see that sort of thing working out as an editorial. So I guess you really did break your promise. No, no Phantom Menace review of any kind. The closest we got was you saying GOOD things about it. I think the movie’s just okay.

  6. I think it’s a bit disrespectful and condescending to label this a good film “for kids” I think anyone can watch it and enjoy the humor, the characters, the style, the personality, and the animation.

Lol I just watched this movie so I could watch Doug’s review. I think there’s enough here for most fans of animation to like, regardless of age. And Darla’s so effing creepy that it’s kind of…..amazing. She makes Angelica Pickles look like….well, like a Care Bears child. XD Darla’s practically satanic in some of her expressions. She’s terrifying in a very strange way. XD
