  1. I didn’t cry at the movie! Ha!

Should I be proud of that?

  2. MidnightScreeningsman2014

There were two adults next to me in the theater and they had no kids and they enjoyed it and there were these teen girls I talked to in line while I was getting a my ticket for the movie and they really liked it. Good thing this one made 91 million cause it deserved every penny it got this weekend. There were moments in the movie I felt bad for the characters but didn’t really cry. Definitely the second best film so far that I’ve seen this year(behind mad max fury road of course).

  3. Pixar films since Toy Story 3: Cars 2, Brave, Monsters University. Their three worst films.
“This is Pixar’s best film since Toy Story 3.”
That’s not saying much. At all.

    • Can’t agrue with that point, so a better description is at least as good at TS3 personally I think it is better then that and up there with UP, Finding Nemo and TS1 as one of the best Pixar Movies full stop.

One other thing, Did you cry three times total…once for Lava?

    • For Brave protection story itself have potential, just for some reason they “Disney” it? And what weird it was after Tangled.. or maybe that was the problem? People expect Pixar not Disney after all.

  4. Yeah I cried. Just once. I almost cried, but didn’t and I thought I was safe, then boom… they got me.
Man, this is turning out to be the year of the gem at the movies (knock wood).

  5. I think I’ll just rent this movie. I don’t like seeing crying movies in the theater.

  6. Hi Chris,

Love your show, one comment, did anybody forget about Herman’s Head (if so you have every right). Same idea. Don’t get me wrong, that sitcom was complete ass and Inside Out is a masterpiece. But still…I wouldn’t call its premice or tagline very Original.

    • Monsters Inc was the Odd Couple with a kid, And Cars is nothing more than Doc Hollywood, heck even Toy Story was based off of various Toys come to life stories like Indian in the Cupboard, Velveteen Rabbit, and the early Disney Channel show about two whined up toy trying to find out where they came from (There’s you plot for Toy Story 4 lol )

Point is, we are all inspired by something. Just what we do with it will make or break us.

  7. TooMuchFreeTime

I was a little distracted in this review because I think I heard a knock…

    Someone better get the door.
    Who’s gonna get the door?

  8. Not saying that the plot or the story are the same, but the people in her head remind me of the early 90s Fox TV show Herman’s Head.

  9. Another A in 2015
    Good year

  10. Inside out sucked.

  11. I saw Inside Out yesterday, and I loved it so much. The heart of Pixar for me at least, has always been emotion, and with the exception of the Cars movies, pretty much every Pixar movie I’ve ever seen has made me feel something really intense at some point, but this is the first one in a while where I’ve actually felt from start to finish. I might have been invested in the others, but there wasn’t a moment when I wasn’t falling in love with the creativity and heart that they put into these characters, I was laughing, I was crying, I was scared. I’m actually going through a point in my life where I don’t really feel engaged with the world around me, so for me to see these characters, to imagine that there are five little beings inside my head who might be worried about me… it’s kind of bringing me back.
I absolutely agree this movie deserves an A, and I sincerely hope it wins for Best Animated Feature, come award season. It deserves it.

  12. Yep, I cried like a baby in this movie. I’m proud to say it. This movie got to me, as a parent and former child. It’s wonderful.
