About Linkara

Atop the Fourth Wall is a show about bad comic books. Linkara finds the surreal and the stupid and breaks them down page by page. You'll know why they're idiotic and how they can be improved.

  1. It’s good to see Comiccron One back. It’s also good that Vyce got some character development. He is becoming actually interesting and complex character.

  2. Where was Waddles in this episode? No Dippy Fresh joke? Was the pig a reference to him? Anyway, this must be the longest stinger ever. You should submit this to Guinness World Records! It was nine minutes long!

  3. 3:21 So was that “other” guy……….
but, ah,……. let’s not talk about him, shall we??
(I wonder if you can still get that autograp- NO, NO, LET’S NOT TALK ABOUT HIM!!!!)
6:18 Let’s see …… Denver The Last Dinosaur, The Dinosaucers, The Dino Squad, the DinoRiders, and now this …. Hey, 90’s Kid, WTF with all the dinosaur stuff back in the 90’s??

Waddles <3. Yay, Linkara is a Faller too 😀

  5. “Next up we take a look at the first four episodes of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures. Somehow I doubt they are as bizarre as this episode has been.”

Boy, are you going to regret those words. <.<

  6. Yeah, Brach’s Rocks were pretty good. All the same flavor, a general “bright fruity” flavor despite the appearance of dull grey spattered with baby pink and baby blue. Better than most jelly beans, I thought at the time.

    I enjoyed them. ^_^

  7. Until the last story, I was worried that there would be no fruit pies. What would a comic book quickies episode be without them? Also, part of me wishes that there could be a DVD of just the storyline stuff to make a sci-fi show of sorts.

  8. I miss that wrestling announcer guy.

  9. Don’t think I ever ate Brach’s Rocks, but surely I can’t be the only one growing up in the 90s who remembers the commercial spot. Which this comic quickie seems to follow almost verbatim.

  10. I remember most of these ads!

‘He tried to take the car in broad daylight’.
Well, about two years ago, somebody came up to my bicycle which was chained up outside my building on a fairly busy street and took an angle grinder to the lock and nicked off with it.
It happened about 3:30 in the afternoon. So, yeah.

‘He drew a picture of Wonder Woman on the moon.’
I wonder if that’s a reference to the movie Amazon Women on the Moon?

You’ve given me an idea for a comic where criminals are being chased by Superman or Spider-Man, and throw Hostess Pies at him, thus getting away.

  11. “I am Lord Vice and this is my sword !”
    Priceless !
