Crimson Peak and Woodlawn – Midnight Screenings

Team Snob sees Guillermo Del Toro’s Crimson Peak, plus Woodlawn, a movie about segregation from the directors of Moms’ Night Out.

Brad and Lord Brian check out Guillermo Del Toro’s Crimson Peak.

It’s a movie about school segregation from the directors of Moms’ Night Out.

About thecinemasnob

Brad Jones portrays The Cinema Snob, a pretentious film snob who is stuck with reviewing Z-Grade exploitation flicks of the past. I'm a big guy. For you.

  1. Had not heard of these films. Having watched these videos I still don’t know what either one is about. Just that one has ghosts and the other is a religious movie.

  2. Can’t lie…the ghosts were fucking creepy looking. Don’t know how tired Brad was to not at least say “yeesh” at a couple of them.

  3. Jessica Chastain actually said in an interview that Whatever Happened to Baby Jane? was one of the movies she studied when working on the part, along with Rebecca and Misery.

  4. If they have C. Thomas Howell as a justice in the next God’s Not Dead, I would shit myself.

  5. Critics have not been reviewing Crimson Peak so I thought I’d check out your review. Also, Tom Hiddleston = yum. Also, I guessed that it was a incest thing. GROSS. Oh,

I think you guys were a little too harsh on this movie. Maybe this was the writer’s Christian fantasy in a way. That actor’s laugh sounds AWESOME though. Man, I LOVE some good overacting. 😀
