About MasakoX

I'm MasakoX, part of TeamfourStar's Dragonball Z Abridged team. When I'm not fighting bad guys or eating muffins, I produce content for Channel Awesome! This ranges from my long-lasting anime reviews to reading bad fan fiction to even messing around with Google Translate for kicks. Either way, it is my pleasure to present my oddments to you in glorious awesomeness!

  1. Devil's Advocate

unless the universes that are erased are brought back somehow, I now refuse to think of this arc as canon.

and again, it really is Goku’s fault because Bergamo managed to convince the Omni-Kings to not erase anything if he won but Goku never tried that.

and I realized that this is out of character for the Omni-Kings as Future Zeno-oh at least, was horrified by what Zamasu did in Timeline 2.

    • I was re-watching some of the earlier episodes from the arc, and after the grand priest reveals to everyone that the losing universes will be erased, Goku does suggest he just go and ask Zeno not to erase the losers. To which Whis replies, it would be an extremely bad idea as he might risk angering the omni kings with such a request. So Goku did bring up the option but it was vetoed by Whis.

  2. I really liked the green dude Gohan was fighting, he was cool. Yeah the locket thing was hilariously cliche, but it was an effective way to humanize the other universes, or at least show that the combatants aren’t all just hardened killers. Regarding Goku constantly letting his guard down, I get the impression he hasn’t even gotten serious yet. Yeah, he went blue a couple times, but I don’t think he’s been in actual danger once so far. Very curious to see what they’re going to do with the return of SSG next ep.

  3. When Universe 9 was destroyed its angel looked like a smug bastard who was glad to see it go, this time the angel actually looked like she was genuinely sad that all of her friends were gone. But don’t we kind of NEED these universes? Maybe Zen-Oh isn’t thinking this through but didn’t the supreme Kai of universe 10 keep track of the time rings? Or do all the universes have those?
