    I also quite like the Shannara series, though I'll admit I haven't read anything after the Heritage of Shannara books.

    The Kingkiller Chronicle is really good too.

    The Riftwar cycle...well, a sizable part of it...is pretty good.

    Phenomena, a Norwegian one, is a personal favorite of mine. Someone bought the rights to make it a TV-series in 2012 but we haven't really heard anything since 2015 so I'm really worried...
