If they're really wanted to show it to them they could have just hired Frank Miller, at least he doesn't try.

Was there not a similar comic called Patrotica or something with a female superhero draped in the US flag fighting for conservative values or something? AT least all those alt-right bozos where all over it on how offensive it would be towards SJWs.

Look guys, I have read comics since I was a kid, I grew up with my dads Underground Comix collection with comics from Richard Corben and Robert Crumb among others, these comics where full of sex and violence as well as stuff that isnt "politically correct" today anymore, so trying to be as offensive as all hell to "trigger SJWs" seems sort of pointless when some of the stuff that came out in the U-Comix days did that on a regular basis.

Also, Alt-Hero in the Confederate flag? Seriously? Like that female superhero from that porn parody over at SuperheroinXXX What was her name, ah yes Southern Belle, a parody of conservative Southern Values who ends up having interracial sex. Its like they are so unaware of this, that they are now trying to make a parody character into a super serious answer to popular superheros.

I doubt it will work, but hey, I am looking forward to the terrible art and writing and how bad it will be.

I find it telling this advertisement for their product says “people you hate will hate our product” rather than “our product is good.”

So I've collected a bunch of hardcovers of the IDW Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles because I've fallen a bit behind been meaning to catch up, and this I felt was a good way to since it not just collects the mainline series but a bunch of the one-shots and mini-series' in there including their cross-over with Ghostbusters. Odd thing though is the covers have in no particular order: Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, Splinter, April O'Neil and an upcoming one has Shredder... but no love for Michelangelo? Really odd to me, the party dude got shafted.

Adding this to my list of possible Patreon Review picks for Atop the Fourth Wall if I ever get one.

Next year the Hulk is teaming up with Monsanto to teach children how dangerous chemicals are good for you?

I've realized that I probably don't recall reading any comics with Betty Cooper's brother because he debuted in the Little Archie series, which I've never actually followed. I think these comics raise too many questions - such as when Archie lost the "little" from his name, whether Riverdale Elementary and High always had the same faculty, and why Fred and Mary Andrews seem like the only adults in town who've aged over the years. I don't remember how long Little Archie has made me wonder these, but I think the first one has bothered me the longest. (Kudos to whichever Riverdale writer had Arch recall when Betty called him, "Little Archie".)

The faculty probably just changed schools when the main characters did. This happens in fiction(see Mr. Feeny from Boy Meets World) and in real life(my elementary school's secretary transferred to the high school the same year I graduated), though it's odd for an entire faculty to move to a new school.

It's even better when the scene was fully animated

(Seriously, though. I did find it cool that they made reference
to the comic's first ever strip in that special).

While we're talking about Charlie Brown, holy crap! Where was this Charlie Brown in the specials?

I don't think I've once mentioned this since I came back, but while I was gone, I became a big fan of a webcomic called Erma.

Funny you should bring that up; Erma actually made reference to that in one of the strips.
