7/10, grows on me
Allie X - Paper Love
9/10, loved that album
7/10, fun listen
Phil Collins - Don't Lose My Number
7/10, its stronger moments help make up for its weaker ones
Radiohead - True Love Waits
7/10, nice beats
Aquilo - Calling Me
4/10, seems like a bunch of random riffs, vocals, and noises to me
The xx - I Dare You
8/10 Wasn't feeling it at first but it grew on me.
6/10, kinda fun, but is really not my thing
Captain Hammer - Everyone's a Hero (from Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog)
6/10 Not the best song in the movie.
8.25/10, pretty good, nice energy
Shakira - Try Everything
6.5/10, I can see how some people would like this music, and I like the guitar work, but the singing annoys me
The Temptations - My Girl
7/10, good performance of song that otherwise wouldn't be memorable to me
Beck - Up All Night
Is this thread losing steam? Because this thread has been going for quite a while, but there seem to be fewer postings recently.
Nope. I just haven't heard much new music lately.
5/10...all right, but nothing I'd go out of my way to listen to again.
6.5/10, this song would be higher if not for the vocalist
HAIM - Something To Tell You ( 4:28 - 8:22 )
8/10, the catchiest song I know about fiscal responsibility
Delain - We Are The Others
5/10 Maybe it's just me, but I have a strong aversion to songs that try to be inspirational (or are at least explicit about it).
I remember seeing a TV movie on this group. I always liked how the chorus of this song subtly gets more melodic each time.
Only comparatively speaking, I've kinda been bugged by Gimme Some Lovin' by Spencer Davis Group, when the buildup to the chorus diminishes each time.
