The midichlorians are the source of the biggest misconception of the prequels, that midichlorians are responsible for The Force, when in actuality, the midichlorians are just a indicator for a force sensitive being, thriving in beings who are force sensitive.

I just don't get being so worked up over him.

Maybe we'll see how Rian Johnson takes things and then judge if whether or not it will be the wrong direction.

Oh yes, that's one thing that came to mind if Roberto Orci ever got his hands on Star Wars.

Yes, which completely undermines the religious faith aspect. Because you have to be force sensitive in order to use the force. The fact you can be like "you gotta a lot force boy" is terrible.

I'm not angry about it, J.J. seems like a cool dude. I just don't like his filmmaking.

I hope 8 is good. Johnson has had a promising career thus far.

I hope LucasFilm still tries to get Johnson to write some bits and pieces of IX instead of leaving him out of it altogether.

Honestly, if Force Awakens did anything well it's that the lightsaber fights actually had weight to them.

I'm still wondering what was even the thought process behind this move.

    Flips and spins.

George Lucas loved his flips and spins.

He probably wrote the script while he had the spins.

Disney has also moved Star Wars Episode 9 from May to December 2019.

In the back of my mind, I always sensed this would happen. Just seemed odd to me that Episode 9 would be opening only a year and a half after Episode 8. Wonder Woman 2 is currently scheduled the week before. I imagine there are meetings happening at Warner Brothers this very minute about whether to change the release date or not. I feel like Wonder Woman is a strong enough brand and the first film is beloved enough for the two behemoths to co-exist. Maybe.

I'm so glad they got Jay Jabrams. I know not many have heard of him, especially since he took on Alias

Yeah that movie was terrible, it's a shame that colin trevorrow left, it would be nice to see each of the sequels have it's own director putting their own spin on them.
