Is The Second Opinion on board or just bored with Season 7 of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic?
I think season 7 is a definite improvement over season 6, but there were too many lacklustre episodes in the first half of the season. I will say that Discordant Harmony and The Perfect Pear are a great step up, and IMHO, that streak is continued with Fame and Misfortune. Unfortunately Triple Threat ends that streak, but I think Campfire Tales is better. To Change a Changeling isn't as great as it could have been, but Daring Don't is pretty neat. Overall, so far it's been a mixed bag but it has had plenty of strong moments too.
Yeah, season 7 isn't one of the true disappointments like 6 was (not yet, anyway), but it's probably more ''middle of the road'' than any other to date. I agree with Discordant Harmony and Perfect Pear, though Fame and Misfortune was no Stranger Than Fan Fiction. (The brony parallels were fun venom, but calling them ''parallels'' is generous, since the actual story is little more than a slapdash excuse for them.) But I actually thought both Campfire Tales and To Change a Changeling were signs of extra effort and improvement.
