Ambassador Sabit Subasic officially became the Bosnian Ambassador to India in 3rd March 2014. Before coming to India he was a diplomat in Turkey for several years, where he witnessed some of the crucial phases of unique democratic development of the nation.
Earlier he was the Minister/Advisor of the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Australia. Prior to this he has also held several other positions including Editor of the Municipality Paper of Ilidza, Advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Minister/Counselor/Head of Department of the Department for Planning and Analysis, Head of Department for human rights and acting Head of Department of Planning and Information among others.

Noida: The sixth edition of the most exclusive journalism festival of the World opened at Noida Film City with great pomp and show. New Delhi: Totally inspired by the eyes, artist Dipak Kumar Ghosh has displayed a series of attractive portraits of renowned personalities which he has expressed on canvas using pencil and charcoal at IGNCA. The exhibition has been titled “Eyes Says It All” showcases the piercing eyes of eminent personalities like Rabindranath Tagore, Swami Vivekananda, Albert Einstein, Sri Ramakrishna, Mother Teresa, A.P.J Abdul Kalam and more.

Noida: A school planned by Marwah Studios for the underprivileged children 10 years ago, has grown bigger in size, quality and quantity. Now there are 15 branches with almost 1000 students studying in primary classes.
“It is the occasion to celebrate our success as we have grown from one to fifteen in numbers, students have grown from 40 to 1000 and hundreds of students after learning, have joined regular schools in Noida,” said Ritu Sinha Pricipal of the School.

Noida: H.E. Faiyaz Siddiq Koya Minister for Industry, Trade, Tourism, Lands & Mineral Resources Government of Fiji paid an official visit to the ICMEI international Headquarters accompanied by H.E. Nilesh Roneel Kumar Charge d’ Affaires High Commission of the Republic of Fiji to India.

New Delhi: AICTE- All India Council for Technical Education in association with IECSME- Indo European Chamber of Small And Medium Enterprises have jointly launched the program to cover the Prime Minister’s vision of developing the villages of India.
“We have given a name-“Developed Village Developed Nation” to this scheme where 10300 AICET approved colleges will adopt one village and will look after its progress,” said Vijay Tewari President of IECSME in a convention at New Delhi.
“An effort has been made to involve 10300 college to be part and parcel of this scheme. Secretary CINTAA- Cinema and Television Actors Association, Peer Zada Saheb- Legal Advisor, Ashok Tyagi-Sec Gen ICMEI and Sandeep Marwah- President ICMEI-International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry attended a joint meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Labour under the Chairmanship of Dr. Kirit Somaiya MP on 18th January at Parliament Annexe to discuss the working conditions of cine employees, their safety, social security etc as per provisions of law.
It was unanimously resolved that a rule book must be written and brought under the law for the working conditions and safety of the workers and technicians for the Entire Media and Entertainment Industry including Television and Digital media and it shall inter-alia contain measures for the safety of the cine and television employees including their social security, safety of women employees and for humane working conditions for women and child artistes.
Chief Labour Commissioner of India Jai Kumar Sagar and Dy. Labour Commissioner Govt of Maharashtra Mr. Vilas Buwa along with Mr. Doke – Registrar Trade Union Mumbai and Mr. Aashish Parmar- Representative of the Broadcasters were also present in the meeting along with other senior officers of the Government.
Since most of the cine employees’ work on contract basis, it was decided that the Act shall also contain model contracts and shall bring all the contractual cine employees under the purview of labour and employment laws in force in India.
“This is for the first time that the Government of India has taken an active interest in the welfare of the Cine and Television Employees. Dr. Kirit Somaiya and The Federation of Western India Cine Employees and its office bearers deserve full credit for this achievement. ICMEI will support the cause,” said Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

“It has been 12 years we have been celebrating International Festival of Cellphone Cinema. The 11th edition is going to be on 12th February 2008. Global Cellphone Cinema Summit is like a curtain raiser to the festival,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.
“It is a golden opportunity for all of us to be part of Global Cellphone Cinema Summit in India. Never I have attended an event like this,” said Ms Zarour Assia delegate from Algeria while lighting the ceremonial lamp. “We are here in India for the first time, the culture of India is so inviting that we would love to be back soon,” added Venuste Niyirora from Rwanda.

Sandeep Marwah is the first person to shoot film on cellphone in India around 12 years back. He is also the first person to start the first ever International Festival of Cellphone Cinema in the World.
It was long ago when my friend, Prof. Karl Bardosh from New York and myself shot a film on mobile. it was shot half in Noida and half in New York.
