Hey look its orange fungus hairball everyone

  2. Before I start, I’m going to guess there’s a reference comparing Garfield to Trump’s hair.

    Now I watch.

    • “As if anyone would be stupid enough to give power to a dumb, orange narcissist with no experience whatsoever.”

Eh, close enough for me! 🙂

      • Yeah, you hit the nail on the head, buddy. Doug is still going for those easy, low-hanging fruit Trump jokes while he still can.

        • What does “while he still can” even mean? Will there come a point where it’ll be impossible?

        • “While he still can”? Captian Cheeto is going to be President of the U.S. for the next four years until he’s either voted out, he steps down or is impeached. If Trump and his cabinet want comedians to stop making jokes about them, they need to stop providing them with so much material.

          • Damn right. Bring on the comedy!

          • Well, that’s one benefit to Trump getting in. Hillary just wouldn’t have been funny enough. Well, that and if the democrats really were going to implement anti-Christian policies and Trump has squashed such an unconstitutional plan then I support him on those grounds, but in every other sphere I think a gorilla would make a better president, though maybe that’s part of the fun.

          • That’s the point. He can only use the cheap jokes for a while longer before Trump has fucked things up so much that he’s no longer funny.

          • True, but I’m the type who prefers to cross such a bridge when we get to it. In the meantime, we have weekly entertainment in the form of articles about Trump. Plus maybe having an orange baboon in charge isn’t so bad if he has indeed become a Christian, assuming what I heard about Hillary and the democrats is true (I hope not).

        • didn’t you read the new internet law? Every person that does a video in the comedic or new category is required to mention or joke about Donald Trump at least once! Doug didn’t want to put a Trump joke in there, he had to put it in cause of internet law.

          • The Real Silverstar

I don’t see the need for Trump bashing; the man bashes himself every time he opens his mouth.

          • I was going to read comments about Doug’s review, but somehow now we have discussions about Trump everywhere.

  3. Why was this even made?

  4. All this talk about Prince, I can’t help but imagine a guy dressed in purple and carrying a guitar.

  5. Don’t they do that thing with the Mirror gimmick in other animated products to?

    • Yeah. There’s an episode of the first season of Beast Wars where Megatron makes a beast mode clone of Dinobot to infiltrate the Maximal Base, and when they first meet, they do the mirror gimmick.

  6. I’m just going to say it. I now really wanna see the critic do a top 11 Tim Curry performances. Let’s face it, the list just writes itself.

  7. Tom and Jerry actually did the mirror scene twice. One that involved a baby elephant and one involving a different cat who caught Jerry. Difference here is that these shorts had their own twist. The elephant one’s hilarious because the elephant’s disguised to look like a giant Jerry mouse which gives us hilarious reactions from Tom.

  8. Doesn’t it get repetitive to people whenever these Hollywood films come out depicting England?

  9. Tamera’s cat outfit is so cute! I hope we get to see more of it.

  10. Salty Trump jokes. As a Canadian I will use said salt on my poutine for dinner.

  11. I now want to see Malcolm as the next Joker instead of Jared Leto.

OMG the nostalgia critic acknowledged gumball!

  13. HA! Classic Bill.

  14. the new video player you guys got is ABISMAL. It constantly fails and this fucking “auto” option makes it SLOWER to load than actualy help!

    • Funny, it’s been working just fine for me. Perhaps you should try it on a different browser, download the episode and watch it offline or wait until tomorrow when it’s on YouTube.

No one wants to deal with YouTube’s copyright craziness, but unfortunately, there aren’t presently too many other options. Blip is gone. Vessel is gone. Dailymotion and Vimeo have their own issues. Disney is taking their sweet time to launch Maker.tv. Until some company launches it’s own video hosting site with it’s own player to compete with YouTube, pickings are sadly slim.

    • It only seems to be a problem for me if I pause it then try to play it again or if I try to go to a different point of the video.

  15. Blaze The Movie Fan

I’m probably alone on this but I personally love this movie it’s one of my favorites of 2006.

  16. Unlike the first Garfield film, I was fortunate enough to have NOT seen this movie since its theatrical release. At the time, I was more interested in seeing Superman Returns, thank you very much.

In speaking of the narrator of Babe, I really need to find time to see “Pig in the City.”

Jane Goodall being replaced by Liz is like President Obama being replaced by Trump; it makes no goddamn sense. Also, awesome job on the Trump joke you already did. (And as usual, back the hell off, SpikeGal. We’ve heard you the first dozen times.)

I also don’t understand why the hell these kids movies have references to Silence of the Lambs. It would be like if the nudist colony scene in Zootopia made a reference to the movie Caligula.

Out of all the crap in this movie, the dog biting Tim Curry’s dick is the most hilarious.

The mirror thing worked better in that Beast Wars episode where Megatron made a clone of Dinobot that doesn’t transform into robot mode.

People, if you want your kids to grow up with Garfield, DON’T show them these movies. Just get them the TV specials and Garfield & Friends on DVD instead. They’ll thank you at their high school graduation.

  17. I never noticed the Billy Connolly/John Cleese thing watching this movie, and now I can’t unsee it.

  18. 7:58 so he really is pubic hair

  19. It’s a flail, not a mace.

    • Indeed. And it’s perfectly reasonable for any building to have weapons of some sort as decorations, and doubly so for what is supposed to be a castle. Or is having a suit of armor weird for a castle to have as well? If anything, I’d say the presence of an actual dungeon that was apparently still functional, was more uncommon than the weaponry being there…..

  20. ah darn, what was the thing Douchey used to say?
…anyway – that was a flail, not a mace. A mace doesn’t have the chain

  21. You referenced Gumball! I love that show! Do you know the sheer number of tropes that show mocks? I have never laughed harder and more consistently with any animated kid’s show than that one. It’s weird how he’s the only modern cartoon character with a girlfriend. I just wasted my comment and I don’t care at all.

  22. Um… that’s a Flail not a Mace.

  23. To be honest, I like this one better than the first. This one is more memorable and I laughed a few more times than the first. Also, I thought Connelly WAS John Cleese in this movie. O.O Lastly, the Silence of the Lambs joke had me rolling. I don’t get it either. You know! For kids!

  24. The funny thing is, I can actually buy the Joker doing that

    • Indeed. And in all likely-hood, whatever hero he had trapped would assume that that was a trap in and of itself, so they’d waste time looking for an alternate exit until they either found “a way out” or the trap in the room itself was about to go off…..

      • No, Scott. I have an even better idea. I’m going to place him in an easily escapable situation involving an overly elaborate and exotic death.

I, uh, rewatched the Austin Powers movies during the week.

  25. GenrlContctUnit Arbitrary

it was sunny here in England this morning

  26. Malcomb and Tamera’s batman joker scene was hilarious!

  27. Wait – how did Garfield and Odie get past the required quarantine? I understand that unless you live in Florida any pets brought in from the US to England have to be in quarantine for several months.

  28. That would literally be one of the Joker’s most ingenious plans ever. Batman would have no idea how to react and I wouldn’t be surprised if he even cracked a smile.

  29. Why do I get the feeling that it not the first time Tamera’s worn that outfit… And the same for Malcolm.

  30. A Tale of Two Cities like this film has a character that is a dead ringer for another. Also, this story is more Prisoner of Zenda which involved lookalikes as well.
