  1. I don’t understand this; why make a statement like, “leonardo was nobodies favorite” and then preemptively insult anyone that might contradict that statement? I understand some fans take things too far and are way more committed than they should be but if you’re going to make a broad sweeping statement like that first you have to accept you’ll likely be challenged on it since it will most likely not apply to Everyone and second realize that since the statement is too broad to be likely then you probably shouldn’t have said it in the first place. This sort of thing happens so often I just don’t understand why. He was my favorite by the way.

  2. I like Leonardo :C

  3. I'mVeryAngryIt'sNotButter

Butterfingers… I HATE Butterfingers. It’s like they took the concept of Reese’s, and went “you know, this is good, but the peanut butter just isn’t hard or tasteless enough.”

  4. BrainDeadGentlemen

    I liked Leo’s weapons.

  5. Not one of my favorite episode, but maybe that’s because I’m from Europe and also haven’t seen Spirited Away.

  6. This is one of my favorite episodes, I love Halloween and I like that they found a way to do a Halloween episode of a show that is set during the summer. This episode has a great sense of atmosphere and really captures the feel of Halloween. The Summerween Trickster is just great, he has a really good design and he’s pretty creepy and the idea of a creature made of discarded candy seeking revenge against children is pretty brilliant. I also quite enjoyed the b-plot in this episode, I totally loved watching Stan try to terrorize children.

  7. I cosplay as the Summerween Trickster. I got recognized fairly easily but most people who didn’t know who I was thought I was Fiddlesticks from League of Legends

  8. Being completely honest. Leo was always my favorite. Just like Robin in Teen Titans. Numbuh One in KND. Cyclops is not my favorite X-men but is definitely in my top 5.

That said, I find Dipper being my favorite character. Mainly because he reminds me a lot of myself and he has quite a few badass moments.

  9. Dude, I like Leonardo, Cyclops (sometimes), Frylock, Brian Griffin (not so much now that he is a bit of a douche), etc. You’d be surprised at the amount of drama the straight man can have.

  10. When I saw this episode, I was actually thinking more of that guy whose name you can’t say from Freakazoid! Sure enough, SAME VOICE ACTOR.

  11. As far as the ‘straight-guy’ main characters go, i think Dipper it’s pretty great. It’s probably because he might be the serious “normal” one, but this is not overplayed as it usually is in other shows. In here, he tries to be mature, but he’s not, really. He’s still a kid, and he still behaves like one. So he just ends up taking himself too seriously most of the time, in contrast with Mabel.

And that is where is the fun in him, imo!

  12. Then I introduce you to Deadpool, and the death battle https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yn8ZqX82neg . Where he actually states that he is a fan of Leonardo. And I don’t mean DiCaprio. But dipper is still better than Leonardo DiCaprio. Also for all those who believe this episode is basic filler to the plot, you are wrong this is another clue episode to who the author is!

  13. I love chocolate-covered raisins. They are the best.

The loser candy usually comes in an economy-sized bag for half the price of the good candy. That’s the only reason people buy it to give out.

  14. Leo’s always been my favorite TMNT. As a kid, it’s probably because he wore blue (my favorite color). Now though, he’s my favorite because in every iteration I read/watch, he’s the only one with the fortitude to lead his brothers. And also because he wears blue.

  15. The Cartoon Physicist

On the newest TMNT series, they definitely gave Leo an actual personality. In fact you should check it out, maybe even do a vlog series on it if you think it’s good enough. Personally, I think it’s awesome.

  16. The Summerween Trickster was a great villain, and poor Gordy was hilarious. A shame they didn’t mention the flyer for Wendy’s party that said “Not S&P Approved”. Apparently that was the replacement joke for a simple spin the bottle reference, and is much funnier for the vagueness. A lot of the times the truly clever adult jokes are a result of having to think outside the box.

  17. What about those weird hard candies that always came in a strawberry-looking wrapper that no one actually bought and they just seemed to spawn out of nowhere??

  18. Something cool to note about this episode and Gravity Falls in general: Matt Chapman of Homestar Runner fame wrote and VA’d for Gravity Falls up to July of this year. He didn’t write this episode (his first was “Boyz Crazy”), but Summerween was a direct reference by Alex Hirsch to Decemberween.

Oh, and he was the Game Announcer in Fight Fighters, among other roles.

  19. Sorry for double posting, but YES! Thanks to Doug for pointing out just how good Reese’s XL is!!! I always make a point to get 3 when Buy 2 Get 1 Free is in effect. They’re that good.

  20. Stan seeing his first screamer, awesome.

Still waiting for a reference to Eerie, Indiana. O well, guess I just have a stronger attachment to that show than most.

  21. I’d buy a Gravity Falls point and click adventure game in a HEARTBEAT!

  22. ( 1:32 ) Seriously ?
Leonardo is the one with the swords, right ? The cool swords/katanas ?
He was also one of the smart ones, if I remember correctly. Kinda the default leader of the group.

I’m curious to see the brother’s reference on that claim, honestly ? It sounds counter-intuitive.

  23. I agree that people who only give toothpaste/brush are going straight to hell, but if they give candy and toothpaste/brush then that’s just being nice.

this episode has a lot of fantastic jokes but to be honest unlike most people it’s not one of my favourites, mostly because dipper is kind of a asshole in this episode, he almost gets all of his friends killed because of his crush on Wendy, I know that love makes you dumb but that’s just a step too far.

  24. Peasant the Dashing Rouge

    Poor Leonardo

  25. Peasant the Dashing Rouge

Also Geek’s are more so intellectual while Nerds are more fans of a certain Medium

  26. Peasant the Dashing Rouge

Did they realize Lucasarts was disbannded

  27. the saddest thing about 2nd world countries is that we get your bad candy.

  28. If that’s your opinion of Leonardo, I can strongly recommend the latest Ninja Turtles cartoon. It’s hands down the only version where they do him really well. In that version I can honestly say that for the first time ever, Leo was my favorite turtle. That was when the show really impressed me.
