That intro: A W K W A R D D D D !!!
I hope you told the dude you doing it to review the film.

I haven’t seen a decent Rom-Com in ages. The formula is so tired, I don’t even think it’s possible to make one anymore. It’s kind of like standard Westerns (not deconstructions or cross-genres): there are only so many stories you can tell before the formula gets stale.

Okay, for anyone who didn’t like my comment, can you give me the title to a GOOD Rom-Com that’s come out within the past five years?

Nobody gives a fuck what you think.

Clearly *you* do, or you wouldn’t have taken the time to post a response.

As for an example of what’s a good Rom-Com, I don’t think that such a thing exists. I don’t have any Rom-Coms on my worst list for one simple reason: I hate them all!

Oh, well. At least he didn’t go on a tirade about how I was a misogynist, homophobic racist. This time.

TGP’s comment garnered some down votes, but I agree 100%. Sorry, but I can’t think of one rom-com that I saw that I liked. Not one. Actually, I take back the ‘sorry’ part.

Thing is, if someone could have given me the title to a GOOD Rom-Com, I would have watched it. It’s not that I dislike the genre in and of itself; I just haven’t seen any good ones lately. They have gotten stale and formulaic.

The trailers made this movie look decent. I’m surprised. Although, that line about planning and lists and women is pretty true.
