  1. Yes, there are other hits like it. This is skiffle music, and another such song that did well was “Come on, Eileen” by Dexy’s Midnight Runners.

    I listened to this once… This “skiffle” revival was a strange trend for Britain, wouldn’t you say? Even more strange is this band re-doing this song on occasion.

  5. I think I’ve heard this song before. I like mindless party music as long as it doesn’t come across as douchey. Although, by today’s standards, this isn’t that bad.
