Injustice Debates – Awesome Comics

Walter, Aiyanna, Bryan and Heather discuss some topics while playing Injustice.

There was a glitch with part of the game-play footage that lasts for a few seconds. It goes all red in the corner from 6:35-6:52.

  1. personally, I’d rather see NRS make Mortal Kombat Vs Killer Instinct than Injustice 2. speaking of Killer Instinct, if none of you have ever played it, then I highly recommend it.

  2. The Flash skin comes from Elseworld’s Finest: Supergirl & Batgirl

  3. I want Heather’s shirt so badly. I was surprised that Bryan didn’t like the Wolverine. I wish that the Suicide Squad Harley Quinn had more black and red. I wish her shirt was black and red. Besides that I have no complaint. She’s crazy so she’s not supposed to look sane. I LOVE her shoes though. Oh, and I wouldn’t mind a Super Smash Bros version of this or maybe even Soul Calibur?

The Wolverine wasn’t great, but it was Masterpiece Theater compared to X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

On a side note, I really hope Fox is done with these X-Men prequel-sequels; no more First Class films, please. After Days of Future Past, the next film should have taken place in the present (wasn’t that the whole point of re-aligning the timelines?), plus I can’t stand pretending that Mystique is a hero and I hate with a fiery passion that wimpy lame-oh version of Beast (Beast has always been one of my favorite X-Men characters, not to mention one of my favorite comic book characters in general, and these movies didn’t get him right at all). IMHO, the X-Men franchise in general is broken and needs to be rethought from the ground up.

Harley Quinn’s outfit in Suicide Squad doesn’t bother me, since I like the bright colors and especially since I’m likely gonna pass on seeing the film altogether. The ads and trailers just make it look like DC is trying to have their own Guardians of the Galaxy, and after the hot mess that was Batman V Superman, I’m not giving DC and Warner Brothers any more of my box office money until or unless I see, hear or read that they’ll be taking a HUGE shift in tone, direction and execution. This bleak, dark, joyless DC Cinematic Universe needs to go.
