Is This Dub the Ultimate Dub? A Dragonball Discussion

Is the Portuguese dub of Dragon Ball Z the “ultimate” dub? Better than the Malaysian or Big Green dubs?! Well, I believe so! Today I will be not only discussing the origins of this dub and its significance in Portugal, but also SHOW you some of my personal favourite clips!

    A bit of insight Masako.
From a Portuguese guy who is a big fan of Dragonball.

While Saiyans are indeed referred as “space warriors” (guerreiros do espaço), as the show progresses and the term “super saiyan” becomes a thing, they are mostly referred as just “super warrior”.

And “Cachalote” is pronounced “Ca-sha-lot”, not “Ka-ka-lo-teh”

Also, the idea that they were understaffed is a vast understatement, “Henrique Feist” plays Goku, Kid Goku, Trunks, Kid Trunks, Kid/Teen/Adult Gohan, Kid/Teen Goten and many other characters including FUCKING FRIEZA!!! xD
And would often engage in conversations with himself as multiple other characters.

Additionally Masako, and I’m not kidding here, you “HAVE” to check out Dragonball GT’s intro.
It’s beyond amazing for the right reasons. It’s badass, energetic, and filled with passion.
In fact, in my highschool (this was like maybe 5/6 years ago), there was a radio that would sometimes be playing music selected by the student council, and more often than not they would play the intro to GT xD

You’d see many students either humming or outright busting into song! At times there were groups of people singing loudly. x’D

Here’s a youtube link my man (yes the quality is kinda bad):

If you want me to, i’ll translate it and post it as a comment.
