  1. If I ever meet an evil monster clown, I’d just ask it how magnets work. That usually works for me.

    I’m not even that big of a fan of the book. I felt that the whole aspect of a creature that embodies and feeds on childhood fears to be a good premise, but then why is a clown the predominant image of this creature? It could have been done a whole lot better, I think. But it has been decades since I read it, so it could be that I’m being terribly unfair.

    Frankly, after Mark Hamill and Heath Ledger, there’s no excuse for a movie that can’t make a clown truly scary.

  2. It is one of my favorite books, so I’m definitely looking forward to this one.

  3. I never saw the original but I personally would rather watch something corny than something actually scary.
