Quick, funny reviews of movies and games, new and old.

  1. How did I not notice that that was Natalie Portman? Also, love triangles + Westerns = ?

  2. Wait . . . today IS January 31st !!! Somebody’s video missed its posting date. 🙁

  3. Oh, why does Ewan McGreggor keep acting in crummy films? Why? what does fate have against him.

He’s an amazing actor with tons of charisma and has a gorgeous singing voice that he hardly uses.

It’s getting heart breaking; he might not actually be there in Beauty and the Beast, but at least he’ll be singing so I hope it’s good; touch wood

  4. MidnightScreeningsman2014

From the trailer it just looked like Natalie Portman was trying to protect her family from bad outlaws from western times but guess her characters just a dummy in distress(that’s what I like to call it) and the trailer just was OK and it looked like a passable movie and glad to see it was another misleading movie trailer.

  5. *Sees Chris’s face on title card* Oh boy…looks like I gotta see how bad THIS one is… 😛

  6. Snorgatch Pandalume

So, Natalie Portman has to be rescued over and over. So basically it’s Thor: The Dark World, but without Thor, Loki, or Asgard.
Seriously, what the fuck is it with Hollywood? Why do they keep making movies with female title characters who do nothing but get rescued (like Jupiter Ascending)? Why is “liberal” Hollywood so absolutely fucking terrified of letting women actually DO anything? Chris just reviewed Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, which was made 15 years ago and had a totally butt-kicking female lead character. Before that we had Sigourney Weaver in Aliens and Linda Hamilton in Terminator (seems like James Cameron is the only director in Hollywood who can make movies with strong female leads). I haven’t seen Terminator: Genesys, but apparently in that they made Sarah Conner into a wimp. It feels like we’re going backward.

And now we have Batman vs. Superman coming up, in which Wonder Woman–the greatest, most iconic female superhero of all time–is only going to be a side-character. Why does Hollywood steadfastly refuse to make movies about female superheroes? Do Hollywood executives actually think men won’t want to watch movies with sexy women in skin-tight costumes? Hey, Hollywood, know what one of the biggest TV hits of the 1970s was? Charlie’s Angels. Know what the only science fiction show in TV history was to ever score #1 in the ratings was? The Bionic Woman. Guess why?

    Fucking morons.

  7. the thumbnail made it look like a photoshop of Chloe Grace Moretz fused with Portman. That just me?
Also, i spat out my drink at the dragonball evo teaser at the end.
