Great review!

Speaking of regretting the past, Nevermind is one that I can say I owned, but not Devil Without A Cause. It was so bad I stopped listing to my local rock station because songs from it were ALWAYS in rotation.

BTW: While he could be referencing the actual aurora, I always took Northern Lights to be a reference to the strain of marijuana that he liked to smoke.

DON’T LISTEN TO KID ROCK!

An arrogant, talentless, disgusting trailer trash hack that became a success by exploiting the work of other people and appealing to the absolute lowest common denominator. Also a trump supporter. I’m shocked, just shocked.

..well not that shocked.

Honestly, the fact that Devil without a Cause sold better than Nevermind doesn’t pain me at all. I really don’t think Nirvana is all that great in the first place, and I really don’t think Nevermind deserved to go 10x Platinum.

Alice in Chains, Smashing Pumpkins, Weezer, Beck, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, RHCP, Corrosion of Conformity, Monster Magnet, Guns N’ Roses, Toadies, L7, I Mother Earth, White Zombie, Stone Temple Pilots, Danzig, Rancid, Sublime, Garbage, Rage Against the Machine, Faith no More, Bjork, The Cranberries,… Read more »
