Team Snob checks out the new Star Trek film, plus the horror movie Lights Out.

About thecinemasnob

Brad Jones portrays The Cinema Snob, a pretentious film snob who is stuck with reviewing Z-Grade exploitation flicks of the past. I'm a big guy. For you.

  1. I thought Star trek Beyond was incredible. By far the best of the three reboots, as it wasn’t an origin story, nor was it Wrath of Khan 2.0, it felt like an episode of the original series within the trappings of a summer action flick. Anyway, my sis and I are both huge Trek fans, and it completely blew us away.

  2. Horror movies aren’t my thing but your review was interesting.

I am going to see Star Trek Beyond on the other hand because space and action = yes for me. Plus, I’ve seen a bunch of reviews for it already.

  3. The original series had typical action for its time. Mainly, it’s fist fights. Look at movies back then. A few explosions here and there, but mostly fist fights.
