Making of Nostalgia Critic: Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer

Because I (fill in the blank) love Christmas!

About Doug Walker

Creator of 5 Second Movies, Nostalgia Critic, Bum Reviews and more.

  1. I swear, the ending to that review was so unexpected and brilliant. And when Doug was playing with Rudolf and THEN what he did with the tree was too much. I almost peed.

  2. I have to find that Sonic-Doug Walker video. I love that Japanese Zelda commercial. I liked the review but not so much the music video. Although, I loved the You Cannot Beat Us reference in it. Where was Rob?

  3. You are right DougThe Scary NES ad from 1987 is Australian. I think that some of the voices in that ad are Australian Voice Actor Keith Scott who in Australian is know for being the Male voices in Yoram Gross Animated Movies and TV shows like the Dot Movies from 1985-1994, The Magic Riddle, The Adventures of Blinky Bill, Tabaluga, Skippy Adventures in Bushtown, Flipper and Lopaka and Old Tom. But in America he is know for the voices of Bullwinkle The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle and the Narrator of the George of the Jungle Movies

  4. There are more wired Aussie Commercials from the 80s and 90s like the Ericsson business telephones 16:30-17:30 mins in. that ad is a rip-off the The Galaxy Song from Monty Python Meaning of Life. Uploaded by my friend Rhys a.k.a. FLEMISHDOG

  5. Great job, guys!

Do me a favor. Never say “I’m full of Christmas semen” ever again. That’s just creepy.

  6. You just wanted any excuse to wear a Mohawk wig again. :p

This was a fun episode. Even though it was obviously setting up for something with the whole subplot of keeping calm during the review and Tamara trying to convince you to be yourself, the content of the outburst was still a big surprise and well produced. Only downside was the lack of Santa Christ, but I expect we’ll be seeing him at some point this month.

Christmas Satin doesn’t work for me. How about St. Satin or Devil Noler. I don’t know, ideas?

  8. Didn’t you hear? There’s absolutely no Paganism in Christmas! It’s 100% Christian.

    Kirk Cameron said so!

  9. What ever happened to Santa Christ Bring back Santa Christ

  10. TheDeviousHoneyBadger7

I always love these behind the scenes videos. The ending to the review was fantastic and it was nice to see how much work was put into it.

  11. I would love to do this again, I used to preform in Christmas plays I loved it

  13. Doug looks like the coco puffs bird if he loved Christmas.

  14. Rob Scallon is a friend of mine
