About Linkara

Atop the Fourth Wall is a show about bad comic books. Linkara finds the surreal and the stupid and breaks them down page by page. You'll know why they're idiotic and how they can be improved.

Man, I REALLY need to get around to reading the Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash comics. The only Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie I’ve seen so far is the 2003 remake, and I thought it was actually good. I never got the chance to properly see the original film yet. I take it that Tobe is named after the now late director of the first 2 original Chainsaw films, Tobe Hooper. I love that clip from Freddy’s Nightmares. I never saw the show though. Great. Now I wanna see a crossover of Freedy-kara and Phelous as Sharp Hand Joe. Um, Freddy,… Read more »

I love that clip from Freddy’s Nightmares. I never saw the show though.

Most of it is worth missing. Doesn’t have much to do with the movies; different kind of stories, few of them even about Freddy.

Um, Freddy, Jafar from Disney’s Aladdin called. He says you’re steeling his ability to turn into a giant snake.

Aladdin: 1992
A Nightmare On Elm Street 3: The Dream Warriors: 1987.
Um, Jafar, Freddy called back. Same message.
(And I’m sure plenty of people could call him back in turn.)

I love the Britney Spears joke!

Hahaha, “Tobe” its even spelled the same as the director’s first name…nice. Love that little subtle reference to the movies.

yay. so glad you finally reviewed the comic i gave you back in 2013. was worried when it didnt come up last year that it hadnt been good enough to show.

Looks like it was actually too good to show. 🙂

This must be the only ANOES comic I don’t own. I’ll have to fix that.

It’s a little weird to me that this comic has more swearing and nudity than the R-rated movie it’s based on.

“Unless Springwood has, like, millions of people in it…”
I don’t think either Hollywood or the comics industry concept of small towns.

You: “Next: Another Clone Saga, but this time without the Scarlet Spider.”
Me: “Why would Scarlet Spider be in a Star Wars comic? Was that a joke I missed?… …. … oh, right. Dumb me.”
