Great video, Ryan. This game was just so freaking hard for absolutely no reason at all. I know Ninja Gaiden 2 was easier but it definitely wasn’t a walk in the park. I think I only got as far as the 3rd level in this game where you fight the 2 blue things and didn’t bother with the rest. I honestly didn’t see the ending for this game until I looked it up on YouTube.

Never been able to get past the third boss of this game. The swamp stage leading up to it is so friggin hard, I never have any health left by the time I get there. And if you die, you get sent all the way back. Why o why couldn’t they just let you start at the boss once you reach it? I have no qualms with using save states when I play this unreasonably difficult game.

Still working on beating Gaiden III. So far i like it better than Gaiden II. Part II was too annoying with all the stage hazards. I like Gaiden III being a return to the style of Gaiden I.
