  1. When I heard Hynden Walch’s voice pop up in your review of this movie, my heart broke a little. I know a paycheck is a paycheck and voice actors don’t necessarily make a lot, but I never wanted to see Princess Bubblegum associated with something like this.

The Tales series of video games do a lot to deconstruct the idea of chosen ones and prophecies. Symphonia namely shows just how emotionally devastating being the Chosen One can be (with a lot of added twists for flavor) while Abyss takes a blowtorch to the idea of the infallible prophecy. Easily some of my favorite RPGs.

  2. The Prequels didn’t ruin Star Wars, Disney did.

  3. You should do real thoughts on the Stephen King stuff.

  4. One little joke about Eric Idle and turning into a Pinky And The Brain episode, because Eric Idle was on an episode of Pinky And The Brain as the voices of Pinky’s parents.

  5. One little joke about Eric Idle and yes, turning into a Pinky And The Brain episode, because Eric Idle was on Pinky And The Brain as Pinky’s parents.

  6. Lucio Fulci’s Conquest has a similar chosen one twist that Rob mentioned. Not a great movie, but still.
