Shape of You by Ed Sheeran – Pop Song Review

I really, really did not want to imagine Ed Sheeran’s O-face. Thanks for that, Ed.

  1. Funny story. When I was in the movie theater, I saw a scene or two from this music video but it was only the training stuff. The song is vaguely catchy. Although, Ed Sheeran looks like the British boy next door. I could dig it. I mean, heck, that date didn’t even sound so bad. It’s the thought that counts, right? Still, the song isn’t one I would seek out on my own but I wouldn’t turn it off if it was on the radio.

  2. Not sure I completely agree with you about 90s pop. From what I’ve seen “The Sign” and “My Heart Will Go On” tend to be considered just as iconic to the decade as “Smells Like Teen Spirit” and “California Love”.

  3. And… Ed may have started to lose me. I’m strictly asexual, by the way.
