D’oh.

About SomeJerkWithACamera

Join Some Jerk With A Camera on location at Disneyland, California (and occasionally other theme parks!) for a series of whacked-out, irreverently irrelevant digress-alicious trips through some of the best and worst attractions and paraphernalia theme parks have to offer!

  1. Please tell me this means we are going to get your bull shit Experimental audio commentaries!

    A. because i like them
    B. because I really want to read the comments and see peoples reaction to one of them.

Trust my guys These commentaries are nothing like you’ve herd before!

I hate those weeks too, for their pretty minor since I have a weird life, but there are times with my fanfics (don’t laugh, I’m a semi-famous fanfic writer) I get that with updating the stuff I have to update and not the stuff I want to update… It gets stressful sometimes… And it even shows in my writing…

Also I could tell that most of it was cut for time, which is a shame because I liked it and it was rather informative about why Universal Hates itself…

I laugh. Not at you but at myself. I wrote a chapter of a fanfiction. People won’t stop asking when I would update. My fanfiction was horrible… And there were literally hundreds just like it so I’m just trying to forget that I wrote it.

Cut for time, and because it just didn’t get the reaction I’d hoped for when I showed it to friends.

Good royals parody and I don’t think that last one is from the Simpsons episode but who knows. I’m also looking forward to you real easing once a week in July. Well nice to see the minion mayhem ride since the new movie opens today. Now to wait to go see it.

  4. Sorry man about your issues. Hope you find a light at the end of the tunnel. As a side note, nice Lorde parody there.

  5. While I really enjoy your skits, I would have zero problem wih you cutting down the length of the skits to avaoid two-parters if that would mean less work for you

    • SomeJerkWithACamera

The skits are the whole reason I DO this show. Otherwise I’m just yet another dork with an opinion.

      • I will have to agree with Some Jerk’s opinion about his own work. I’m not sure I’d be all that interested in theme park reviews if they were more straightforward, even with a Nostalgia Critic-style sense of humor. What makes Jerk one of my favorite reviewers on the site is the frenetic, often random, shall I say “roller coaster” bombardment of wacky, while STILL being informative about the history of the ride/feature/attraction AND giving his critical analysis. Take away the cut scenes and the sketches and I don’t think I’d enjoy the show nearly as much.

Also, really, he’s reviewing mostly theme park attractions with content (so not, say, Tilt-a-Whirls or Ferris Wheels) in just a couple of parks very close to each other, so if he didn’t do two and three part reviews, he’d severely deplete his material much more quickly.

  6. I’ll understand if it was for pacing, but I think that “Royals” joke was good enough for your Shrek 4-D Review, you should have left it in!

  7. lacking_psilosynine

“my mouth writes checks that the space-time continuum can’t cash” that’s great i’m going to start using that

  8. Nostalgiaoholic87652

Wait hold on…there was a ghostbusters thing at Universal man that would have been awesome to see.

  9. If that’s what you cut out, what you left in must have been pure gold!

  10. Hey Tony, hope everything’s going ok. We all run into doing menial tasks we don’t want to do, but hopefully things will get better and take your time with making videos.

    We’ll still be here waiting.

  11. At least you deliver.

  12. If it helps the fat guy clone in the Simpsons game is the slightly effeminate music teacher. Why he’s a cloned bad guy mob, no clue.

  13. That Troy McClure thing was gold. Why’d you cut it?!

  14. Do you ever plan to release “uncut” versions of these videos?

  15. I kind of find it ironic that that cast member is named Michael. Just imagine if Eisner (TOTALLY NOT “DEPRESSED” ON HOW HE WAS SCREWING UP THE THEME PARKS IN THE LATE 90’s, EARLY 2000’s, SO HE WAS SEEING HOW THE COMPETITION WAS DOING BETTER, BUT BY “SEEING HOW THEY CAN BEAT THEM”) saw that exact same cast member with that name tag.

Also, I’m on a roll, here but I guess propaganda documentaries weren’t working for Michael Moore, so he went to Universal to see if he could get a job, but all they gave him was being a cast member for the Shrek ride.
