  1. A modern co-op update of this game would have so much potential. You could have one player steering the ship and another controlling shields and weapons. Make the amount of power in the shields and weapons, along with aiming accuracy, directly dependent on having the ship go slower (or, depending on the weapon, go faster), and force the two players to communicate their intentions to make them work together successfully.

  2. I remember seeing one of those games in a very dark Show Biz Pizza back in the early 80s . . . and never anywhere else in my entire life. The production run of that machine must have been incredibly limited and based on the gameplay I just saw I think I understand why. It was basically a generic shooter with a few bits of Star Trek thrown-in to sell the game. It just wasn’t “Star Trek” and the lack of demand for it would be obvious.
Thanks for showing it off. 🙂

  3. This is the least Star Trek-y Star Trek game I’ve ever seen.

  4. The Real Silverstar

This game was basically Asteroid/Galaga with a Star Trek gloss-over.
