Hey SF Debris:

I don’t always comment, but I pretty much always enjoy the show. Keep it up.

DS9 truly was the best Trek series, and yet it was so atypical being set on a station rather than a ship, having larger story arcs (Enterprise would eventually do this too), and with so many aliens and non-humans in the lead cast.

A 5 for DS9 is like a 9 or 10 for Voyager and Enterprise.

I mostly agree, but I kind of gave up on it in the last season as the whole Dukat thing bugged me. They a had three dimensional villain and turned him into just another raging madman. I always felt it was an overreaction to how they mistakenly portrayed him in earlier seasons.

Somewhere along the way, they seem to have realized they’d gotten people rooting for the Nazi Concentration Camp commander who loved his mixed race daughter and instead of just highlighting his real negative aspects, they decided on full tilt psycho.

It reached a point where Marc Alaimo thought he was one of the good guys.
