Star Trek (DS9): Wrongs Darker Than Death or Night

Opinionated DS9 Episode Guide looks at Kira’s past with the pretentiously-titled Wrongs Darker Than Death or Night, which answers the burning question of whether or not you should time travel to see if Dukat screwed your mom.

About SF Debris

  1. I really hated this episode. It just shows Kira as having no wider understanding of issues beyond her own narrow minded view point. At this point in the series she’s had a lot of opportunity to grow beyond just a resistance fighter and none of that growth is on display here, instead she just comes across as bigoted and unlikeable towards her own mother no less. Any vague bits of annoyances from Jadzia is far outweighed by Kira general attitude in my opinion. It would be good to say that it was a good thing that this episode didn’t have a lasting effect on the series but it really feels like it should have had. Maybe Kira could have grown from the experience and in time forgiven her mother, which would at least go some way to redeeming this terrible episode. As it stands this episode is just plane crap.

dang these must have been some bad episodes. that is kind of weird that they would use time travel in an episode about cheating n woman but hey the commenter above me hated it like you did so he at least that’s something you guys can agree on. can’t wait for more uncomfortable stuff next week, should be a fantastic fun time(ugh not).

  3. Jadzia may be insufferable at times but I found that Bajoran collaborator to be far more annoying.
