  1. lol, I’d love to see Darth Mum-Ra go toe to toe with the Thundercats with his new lightsaber.

You guys played this exactly like how I did when I was young. Believe it or not, you actually do kinda have to follow the movie in a way by starting off at the Sandcrawler to rescue R2D2, get the lightsaber from Obi Wan in the cave, and THEN go to Mos Eisley where you can at least kill the enemies and stormtroopers with your lightsaber.

I only got as far as the Death Star (not the X-wing battle in the trench) and found this game mediocre.

Funny video as always, but with The Force Awakens coming out, you guys really should have done the far superior SNES trilogy since the NES games don’t even have Return of the Jedi.

Also loved how you guys wore the Vader mask too. XD

  2. Wow, this was a pretty bad start to the first world in the game. First off you guys need to head to the north west corner of the game map you get R2 in the sandcrawler after the initial start. The cave with the huge guy shooting waves of lasers out of his chest was the cave with Obi Wan and he gives you the lightsaber making almost everything in the game a one hit kill. Except those purple guys. they are actually unkillable.

The Millennium Falcon token you guys found was a deflector shield and you can get 8 total. easy way is find the cave you have the easiest time with and farm the shield 8 playthroughs the cave. now after going and getting R2, Obi-Wan and your 8 deflectors than head to the cantina and on the far right of it is Han go can be a selectable character in the pause menu. If he dies though he’s gone unless you use Obi wan to bring him back one time. Han also gets a blaster bolt as wide as the Purple guys but only one shot instead of the purple guys stream. But once you get Han you have to return the way you came. Now back outside the cantina you use Luke with the saber to easily kill the Boba Fett guys and everyone to get to the Falcons hanger which is another short level too. Once you get to the Falcon your off Tatooine and straight into the Asteroid Feild. Hope you got those Sheilds! HAVE FUN!

And I’ve beat this game multiple times when I was a kid. It’s a bit tough to learn but easy once you recognize how it all works.

Cool video you guys i never realized how much hard of a game this was untill you guys played and if yoh hate it i can definitely see why.

    • It’s not too hard, They just have no patience. And that was games in the old days. Not a lot of “Hey go this way!” We had to play and experiment. Plus on how long it took them to figure out how to run was embarrassing.

      • In the old days, beating a game wasn’t guaranteed and we mostly played just for fun before moving on to something else. What you’re seeing is pretty much like how games were played by kids in the 80s (when I was a kid).

If you’re looking for a completionist, there’s another show for that and it’s pretty rad.

  4. Wait, could someone explain why the game says “Epsiode IV” when Episode I was released in 1999 and this game was in 1991?

    • Hi tastiger,

Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope was released in 1977 with Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back in 1980, and Episode VI: Return of the Jedi in 1983. This is usually known as the original Star Wars trilogy.

The “Prequel Trilogy” is Episode I: The Phantom Menace in 1999, Episode II: Return of the Clones in 2002, and Episode III: Revenge of the Sith in 2005.

George Lucas wrote episodes IV-VI first so people who grew up around that era experienced them first. This game was released in 1991 when only Episodes IV-VI were out at the time.

Younger generations now have the option to watch all of Star Wars from the beginning.

      Hope this helps!
