  1. SPOILERS!!! It was pretty good. The acting was good. The action was good. It’s a beautiful movie. The 3D was better than The Force Awakens. I like every scene except for one. Most of the humor was good. However, there weren’t twists. Everyone says that there’s a bunch of twists but there were barely any. The only twist that I appreciated (not even liked) was Luke dying in peace. Besides that, the twists either sucked (Rey’s parents were just some random lushes) or were not existent (No twist with Snoke. She’s some evil dude). There’s not much to spoil and the trailers made me think this would have twists.

    • Yeah, considering Snoke was built up as this mysterious evil mastermind in the previous film, it was a little frustrating they killed him off without any explanation as to who he was or where he came from. Part of me thinks he’s not actually dead though. I feel he may resurface in episode 9.

    • I actually thought the learning Rey’s parents were losers of no important was a great twist! We’ve become so accustomed to all these hero’s journey tales needing some” big-important” family legacy that gives the “ordinary-little fellow” a reason to be the hero, that no one expects them to come from nothing. It was refreshing to see a coming of age story were the parents wen’t big heroes or big villains but shallow little nobodies who no one would want to be like. I like the validation that it’s not where you come from, but how you choice to live that makes you who your are.
