1. THE CULTURE HAS REALLY WEIRD IMPLICATIONS IN THIS WORLD, INCLUDING LEAVING HOME AT AGE 10

2. ASH IS IMMORTAL, TRAPPED IN ETERNAL PREPUBESCENCE

3. PEOPLE WHO DON’T CARE THAT THE SHOW’S BATTLES DON’T MATCH UP WITH THE GAMES ARE LIKE PEOPLE WHO CAN READ MORSE CODE. VERY RARE.

I kept thinking you’d make a Simpsons reference in the episode and I’m glad for the stinger to be one! Yay!

Also I laugh so hard the Bulbapedi plug… honestly more than I should…

I’m happy to hear my favorite episode of Season 1 is the highly sought episode of all. Makes sense with the diversity of Pokemon shown in this episode compared to many others. Gives ya a whole world view in a sense.

I love how the word Pokemon sounds with a southern accent. POE-KAY-MON. Also, I liked the Slenderman reference towards the end. That was well done.

I actually wouldn’t mind trying Lousiana taiyaki if that was a real thing. Too bad it isn’t. That kind of reminds me of the cringe worthy “authentic French sushi” from Mass Effect 3, now that I think about it…but yeah, I kind of miss the days when English dubs would try to pass off references to Japan as references to staples of the US. I guess we still have Phoenix Wright if we want that kind of localization.
