Superman vs. the Terminator #2 – AT4W

The man of tomorrow! …quite literally, since he’s now in the future.

About Linkara

Atop the Fourth Wall is a show about bad comic books. Linkara finds the surreal and the stupid and breaks them down page by page. You'll know why they're idiotic and how they can be improved.

He is almost done, so yes, it will be a sad day.
Fortunately, Frank Miller continues to bring the crazy.

Or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it.

Superman in an American flag? Tomorrow’s the fourth of July of course! America, f*ck yeah, indeed! I do agree this is getting better. The Nostalgia Critic’s are now always longer than yours. It was always the other way around.

I think a Superman vs. Terminator crossover would be good if done properly. And I’m not that big of an aging Shaquille O’Neal in a metal suit fighting the machines.

2:37- Yeah, that guy’ll never replace Phelous D1.

4:32- HAPPY MOTHERFUCKIN’ FOURTH OF JULY, BITCHES!

The future in this comic is starting to make as sense as that in Superman at Earth’s End, except Superman is not a Bearded Idiot.

10:01- I’ll be sticking with the T-X from Terminator 3 instead.

12:07- I liked it better in Terminator Genisys when SkyNet took the form of The Eleventh Doctor from Doctor Who.

Oh my God! You reviewed the first issue of this comic eight years ago?! I’ve been watching AT4W for that long. Time flies! O.O I don’t know how I felt about the first issue but from what I saw in this video, this looks good to me. I’m so excited for the next episode though. That is bound to be hilarious. I’m also interested to see where the after-credit story line is going.

-ll:49 – Is it just my imagination, or does Steel bear a striking resemblance to a certain large blonde guy who also happens to carry a giant honking hammer? That’s one MIGHTY coincidence. Who ASSEMBLED that?

Do any of these killer robots from the future happen to have a best friend who is a Talking Pie? Because what this comic needs is a Talking Pie.

Superman trapped in the future? Come on, man! All he’d have to do is fly around the earth several times until it spins backwards. He’d be back with Lois before supper.
