Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows – Midnight Screenings

Brad and Allison review the new Ninja Turtles movie.

About thecinemasnob

Brad Jones portrays The Cinema Snob, a pretentious film snob who is stuck with reviewing Z-Grade exploitation flicks of the past. I'm a big guy. For you.

  1. Out of the shadow and into the sun
Dreams of the past as the old ways are done
Oh there is beauty and surely there is pain
But we must endure it to live again

  2. I saw it completely different from you guys honestly. The scene where they are shooting him with spitballs I feel like they were just playing around with Vern. It was only Raph and Mikey doing it they are teenagers. and honestly, Bebop and Rocksteady are suppose to be morons, so I don’t know what you are complaining about there with them. I thought the movie was perfect for kids and on opening night I saw a few people in the theater with me, all of us had a good time and laughed. But I do have to agree about the scene you are talking about with Karai (that is her name) She is shredder’s second in command, in the series she is suppose to be equal to the 4 turtles together in terms of strength, and she’s beaten by a hubcap. I also have to agree with Casey Jones, but the police cop and Tyler, I just chalk that up to them trying to remain kid friendly. The science behind the transformation is silly, but alot of the classic turtle cartoons were also… just exposition or fight scenes infact I don’t think that formula has even changed today. I can’t hate this movie because It stuck to a formula that most of the fans really seemed to want. Krang is suppose to treat Shredder like garbage. I mean really I can’t hate this movie for what it is.

  3. I watched Phelous’ impressions review of this movie, looks like Brad will get to laugh his ass off.

  4. I liked the movie. It was an episode of the cartoon, with all the silliness, and everything else.
