  1. I’d have to disagree slightly with your assessment. I remember the 1990’s film I loved it; but honestly when I went into this movie I was happy with it. This movie I think is all about what the ninja turtles should be about. My complaints are pretty much the same as yours though Splinter didn’t have enough screen time, Casey Jones is a bit generic, etc. But the most important part of the movie is that at the heart of it it is a Ninja Turtles movie and that it wasn’t afraid to be silly even at the expense of some crude humor like the fart joke, or the moment that Casey Jones meets Splinter.

As a fan of the series though, while I do think this movie captures what the heart of the turtles is, I do complain a bit about the ending sequence with April and Vern fighting Karai. Karai is suppose to be a pretty badass fighter in the series, strong enough to take on all 4 turtles herself, it feels so out of place that she’s just beaten by April and a guy with a hubcap. But beyond that I loved this movie and the first 90’s movie is now in my second place slot. It followed a pretty bad example, but I hope this movie does well because I do enjoy it, I plan to buy the blu-ray, and I can’t wait to see what they do in the sequel.

  2. Another video already? Yaaaaaaaay!! This is getting brilliant 🙂

0:56 me too which is probably why I’ve never really got into it, like Power Rangers

8:34 are you suprised: he made the Madea films; he really is a mad scientist

I liked the first two films from the 90″s/2000’s ones but that third one is appaulling (A BMB review someday?) I’ve seen bits of the 2014 one and it was kind of lame but fleetingly entertaing (April O’Neal storyline was the worst part: generic and underused. And the turtles were ugly as sin!)

Now pardon me a moment, I’m just going sit here a moment and squeak about how utterly adorable you look in the mask: eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!!
There, just had to do that: great review! I’ll probably not watch this film unless it’s on TV or something

Also I don’t think Arrow’s the best choice for Casy Jones: to subdued an actor. Johnny Depp or Robert Downy Jr would be better
