  1. The world of this movie sounds almost exactly like the world in the video game, The Last of Us. In that game, there were also fungal zombies (Cordyceps to be exact) that had differing levels of infection and physical appearance (normal zombies to Clickers to Bloaters, each form covered with more and more fungus). The events of the game start up first at the initial outbreak, then picks up 20 years later from the start of the apocalypse, showing us a world that has been all but consumed by nature. The final hope for humanity also lies in an infected child who is somehow immune to the fungus. Here is where the similarities seem to end, but I’m surprised that Film Brain didn’t mention how blatantly similar both this film and The Last of Us are, especially considering how popular the game was.

  2. Sounds worth checking out. I wonder if it’ll come to theatres in my city.
