  1. Oh man, so many memories of playing this back in the day. I remember my parents got me an N64 and Ocarina for my birthday back when I was in grade 9. And they actual tricked me into thinking I was getting a bike. “Your present is in the garage son.” I was like, “oh great, you knew what I wanted!!” I walk over to the garage, visibly disappointed, and of course there was the N64 waiting for me. Yeah, my parents were kind of assholes likes that:)

Anyway, yeah, I think this game will forever remain in my top five games of all time. That is definitely large in part thanks to my own nostalgia, but it is just a great game that still holds up quite well. The Forest Temple is defo the best. I actually have a file saved at that part of the game, whenever I feel like playing through it. And lastly, this is kind of spoilerish for Breath of the Wild: You don’t actually climb on him like shadow of the colossus, but you do fight a huge ass fucking Ganon incarnation at the end of the game, like they had originally intended for OoT.

    • A bike would have been cool too 😛

I know Josh has finished Breath of the Wild already and I’ve just beaten all the Divine Beasts so all I have left to do is beat Ganon. Can’t wait to see how big he is!

      • Lol, yeah I know! But from my perspective at the time I already had a perfectly functional bike, and I had incessantly reminded them of just how badly I wanted this game. Obviously I’m grateful they cared enough to get me anything at all, but they just had to mess with me!!

Anyway, enjoy the ending of BotW man! Fantastic game imo.
