Turkish Batman – Cinema Snob

The Cinema Snob checks out the bizarre 1973 Turkish version of Batman.

About thecinemasnob

Brad Jones portrays The Cinema Snob, a pretentious film snob who is stuck with reviewing Z-Grade exploitation flicks of the past. I'm a big guy. For you.

  1. I love any review on Turkish Batman and I’m glad you finally got around to it. Great job Brad.

  2. First!!! MWahaha!!! (bear-hug) Done that now.

0:41: I’m doing that (click, click, click): now the first thing that comes up is this: PARADOX!!!!
1:31 not for you, not for you

I’ll only be impressed if you review the 1987 Bollywood Superman movie; where boy Superman dances to Beat it by Michael Jackson

Great review: take care and again (bear hug!)

Brad I am ashamed of you barking at the neighborhood dog when clearly that’s what dogs do!!! Jk love the review

  4. 0:40- In your words from the Can’t Stop the Music review, “WHAT IN THE HOLY MOTHER OF ALL TURKISH BATHHOUSES!?”

If I want a Batman movie that’s shot in black and white, I’ll stick with both of the movie serials from the 1940’s, thank you very much.

5:24- The extended cut of Batman v Superman is rated R for more violence than the theatrical cut, not for nudity or sex.

    13:00- I wonder if there’s a Turkish Naked Gun.

  5. The un-named song you mentioned last is a french song by Jane Berkin and Serge Gainbourg called Je T’aime…moi non plus. It’s about…well go check it out it does actually fit the film. And it is an eye opener.
