Really short for a weird video games episode but o.k. Now am I the only one that thinks in the space game the spaceship looks like a weiner(PLZ tell me I’m not the only one that thinks so)!!!!!!!!


Yes, the graphics for Adventure were pretty minimalistic. Still, at the time, Adventure was as sophisticated as games got on consoles, so you took what you could get.

Yeah, in those days of blocky-ass graphics, gamers had to use their imagination… I mean, A LOT OF IMAGINATION! Most of the information you got where form the instruction booklets, and then, they only gave you a core premise: The land is being overwhelmed by three nasty dragons, so head over to the three castles to get the holy chalice that would save the day… somehow? Its was not that bad, as the lack of visual detail, plot or background meant having to fill-out the game — the hero, the enemies, the world, goals, etc. — mentally from whole cloth.… Read more »
