With The Empire Strikes Back, Star Wars was taken in a much darker direction. When Return of the Jedi hit theaters in 1983, one would assume they’d follow through on how bleak that first sequel got. However, what was released had a mix of tones that ranged from The Emperor forcing Luke to fight his own father to…cute little teddy bears called the Ewoks easily killing Storm Troopers… Is there a way to fix Jedi to match the tone of Empire in a more logical progression?
