  1. I’ve never heard about early COLECO or their ties to Cabbage Patch Kids; I 100% knew the name just from electronic stuff.

    • I’m not surprised as many companies at the time start in different business due to huge initial technology costs. For example famous IBM start making cloaks, weights and meat cutters. Furthermore in toy industry until you were Top-5 company no one give a shit about producer brand with high importance of series brands themselves. Because of that it wasn’t uncommon when products lack producer logo. Cabbage Path Kids brand was owned by seven companies until that point.
